Garden of Monoliths

Garden of Monoliths, Lower Sohra, Meghalaya
Walking in this wilderness is like walking on another world. I always want to take picture of Monoliths / Menhirs. This place (sohra) was always cloudy and the grassland glows in the filtered light of the thin cloud cover after heavy rain. Walking in the world’s wettest place was quite a journey.

Behind the lens:
I took this shot using a handled camera. The focus was selected using the hyper-focal distance so that the entire scene is in sharp focus. To view full EXIF data please follow the download link.
